I think I’d prefer the five nu-metal bands. They were much less in-my-face-obnoxious than this band has been.

Who does this music appeal to? Are they affiliated with a wrestling association? They look like that kind of band that would have their latest track ‘Bring the pain’ or ‘Fight or Die’ on one of those soundtracks.
How about you guys listen to both their album’s before passing judgement. It’s funny you get these left wing assholes that come in here and judge a band by a live cover song, ROFL get real. I happen to work in a metal fabrication shop with a bunch of “right wing assholes.” They’re generally nice guys who like to smoke their commercial weed with me, but they are not bright people and have horrible tastes in music. I’m subjected to this bullshit all the time. The music consists of an overuse of the double bass pedal and simplistic riffs and breakdowns. The lead singer has a decent growl but he can’t sing for shit, and unfortunately, he tries to sing 75% of the time. His lyrics are “Fred Durst” bad, and I am certain he writes them in crayon. “It’s monkey see and monkey do. You’re always doing what they tell you to. You’re like a puppet on a string.” Umm…..yeah.
FFDP is a band for people who still believe Iraq attacked us on 9/11 and that NASCAR and WWE are legitimate sports. I’m sorry you’re all upset because no one here likes them. Look at the bright side. When you go “muddin” this weekend, everyone there will agree that FFDP is the best band ever, and you will no longer be alone in this world.

It is clear to me – that you are a juvenile – who has no idea how famous Bad Company is..not was…IS. Paul Rodgers, FREE, and Bad Company, to name just a few bands. DOWN had a tribute special on this band, and the importance of BC, as well as other 70s rock/metal bands. I hope (for your rock/metal credibility) that you meant to say that Five Finger Death Punch’s cover of Bad Company was lame…if not – You sir (child/infant of rock/metal) are LAME. Go do some research into the importance of this band (Bad Company) and see how influential they are to rock and metal. This is classic legendary 70′s ERA rock. Paul Rodgers forever. I love how when the chorus to “Bad Company” starts, he points at himself when he sings “They Call us/me..” and then when he sings “I can’t deny” he shakes his head and holds his one hand up like he’s saying, “I can’t blame you, we’re that hardcore” I never so much as heard a song by this band before this (though I always thought the name was fucking terrible), but this is really the worst thing I’ve heard in the long time. The singer also just has that face you want to punch

I couldn’t take it anymore, so I watched it. Yes, wearing your band’s swag on stage is not cool. Yes, his lyrics are childish. I’ve listened to both albums, and the musicianship is not bad, but the vocals can wear on you. I liked Motograter back in the day, and I think Ivan did better with the vocals then, even though it was nu-metal. I just don’t enjoy this cover, and I hate when bands use a cover as a single, it just shouldn’t be allowed. I don’t hate FFDP, but I don’t love them either. First album was definitely better imo.

To answer your question, yes I am familiar with Ann Frank. I also took a holocaust class in college, taught by a holocaust survivor. It wasn’t the cheeriest hour of my day, but I had some, for lack of a better term, aryan-guilt, having family who was in the SS during WWII. That being said I wouldn’t mind FFDP being thrown into an oven.
