Members Of Shadows Fall And Unearth Form New Project, Seek Vocalist

Members of Shadows Fall and Unearth are currently seeking a vocalist for a new project. So far the group, which features Shadows Fall‘s lead guitarist Jonathan Donais and rhythm guitarist Matt Bachand, Unearth‘s Derek Kerswill on drums and Jeff Fultz (ex-Seemless) on bass, have recorded a new five song demo.

The band commented on what they are looking for with the following:

“We are looking for one crazy bastard with the energy, the drive, and the determination to take this thing to the next level,” says Matt Bachand. Jon Donais adds, “The vocalist we seek should be influenced by a variety of melodically based bands anywhere from Alice In Chains, Shinedown, and Aerosmith, to Skid Row and Pantera.” You must be serious about the position, and must be able to tour extensively. Demo submissions are currently being accepted. Submissions should include a bio and list of past experience, photo, audio and/or video performance, and any other information you would like the band to know.”

Those interested can send their materials to iamdrunk666@gmail.com.

Knowing two members of this outfit very well and the talent that is in this project, there is no way they will sound anything like Shinedown! They are just using the singer as an example of what they’re looking for. Fultz on his own is a monster guitarist, but just not the speed weenie that Matt and Jon are. He was both bass and guitarist at different times in Seemless. Kerswill has proven himself more once than with Unearth, Seemless and the first Kingdom of Sorrow record. Trust me, this will not be weak in the least! Will be exciting to hear this!

So not talking about success. Talking about talent as musicians! Wake up! Again, they are just throwing out some vocal styles they are fond out, that they’d be into having someone with those influences! Sheesh! Plain and simple as that.
