fuck, the poor bastard looks, and sounds, like he is terminally ill, not too good at all really
Considering how long they’ve been doing this shit, and losing 2 founding brothers, they still got it together. Davis gives his heart out every show.
EL ROV approves of KorN (even tho Reginald Arvizu is a fucking dick)
yeah, like korn needs anyone’s approvement
^this
Umm..is ‘approvement’ even a word in the English Language gov’!?
Anyway, like I’ve said before…get rid of that shitty mix stand Jono! It is terribly passé.
Do these guys ever shower?
To Jonathan’s credit, he’s 39 years old Korn’s been around since the mid 90′s and they’re somehow still together even if it is in some dilapidated shell of its original lineup.
That being said, it’s hard to digest the angst-ridden lyrics of someone who is almost 40.
Pretty lame face paint.
@Surly – I think allichs is (possibly) European so I’ll let the made up word slide. Though he could possibly be from the states and just have troubles with the language because he learned most of what he knows from Korn lyrics and actually thinks a “R” is supposed to be backwards like in the logo.
.
@EL ROV – Holy shit! Fieldy’s actual name is Reginald?! I now imagine him playing polo and sipping tea on the weekends.
.
@dicksnbabies – He needs some pointers from Wes.
.
Anyway, the only good thing about this performance is the drummer. He at least puts a lot of energy into it and looks like he’s having fun. Also, let the second guitarist on stage.
I’m from Germany, and I’m half Russian, so I know what a “backwards R” actually means.
If you spoke it out literally, Korn would be Koyan.
It has be hard for Jonny boy, keeping up with the charade that he’s some deeply disturbed victim and all. I’ll give it to him for trying, but it’s pretty fucking hard to be eternally depressed and pissed off when people continue to buy your shitty albums and see you tour year after year. To me, this performance reflects just that. I saw Korn in 97, it was brutal and awesome. They are clearly a novelty act now. I know, I know, you don’t have to say it, welcome to ten years ago.
I dunno, this makes me kinda excited for Mayhem Fest. Korn was my favorite band in middle school and I never got the chance to see them live… I’ll just have to brush-up on the oldies and listen to some of the newer stuff they’ll be playing. Some thing with Zombie.
@ganglor bash any strange gash lately ?
Listening to Head’s solo effort makes it more clear where Korn’s sound went
Korn should sing happy songs. How could Jonny still be this depressed after so many years lol. I miss the days where you couldn’t understand wtf he was saying(94-97).
@dicksnbabies – Is that jive you’re speaking? And if you’re asking what I think you’re asking then no. Nothing that would be defined as “strange” at least. Waaaiiit, are you talkin bout Surly? Him/her and I are continents away son.

Haha…how much time did you put into spelling out all of that?
Life is Peachy was the shit back in the day. Probably the only Korn album I could still listen to now.
LOL 3 seconds, foudn the lyrics on a lyric site. Old school Korn is untouchable in my opinion, I also think alot of the opinions expressed in this post are valid. I’m happy to see Korn have alot of energy again, but it’s no korn riding the low riders onto the lollapalooza stage back in ’97, sigh.
That’s just plain crap. The second guitar player hiding in the background, that’s quite degrading. I believe he’s already been working with them for a while so why not let him on stage. And Jon’s voice is running through a lot of effects or auto-tune or whatever.
why the fuck are they suggesting that they’re going back to their roots with “III” if they’re as artificial as they can be. I used to love these guys back in the days, I cant stand these rich bastards anymore.
