Nine Inch Nails Frontman Speaks On Zack De La Rocha Collaboration

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails/How To Destroy Angels recently took part in a fan q&a and was asked about the material he worked on awhile back with Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack De La Rocha. Speaking on the songs and if he knew of any release plans for them, Reznor offered the following:

“No idea about that music coming out. Some of the stuff we did together turned out pretty cool but I wouldn’t hold my breath for a release.

I like Zach and think he’s a talented guy.”

If Trent and Zach got together this would be an amazing project! Granted Trent stops messing with the dirty bass sound and crusty guitar tone.

    • ZACK needs to keep on working before he gets too old and his screaming would seem silly. That fucker is as lazy as he is talented. The world needs him, yet he spends his time in South America or playing ping pong. Write a book or something. Bring back Inside Out.

    • How nice of Trent to say. I think a lot of us would like to like Zach too. Not me really, he always seems so pissed off…always talking about killing and bullets and bombs etc.

    • This could certainly help, will. I’d be a touch worried he’d set it on fire like the cover of their self-titled release cover. Maybe he needs to get into Farmville. It’s hard to take out your anger (is…a….gift) on virtual cows and chickens.

I’m honestly not interested in what Reznor and De La Rocha material. Love both bands, but that doesn’t mean it works together. Though the Saul Williams collab on “Y34RZ3R0R3M1X” was pretty good, I don’t think I could take a whole album of rappy, techy… stuff. Meh.
