Pop Up Records are currently assembling a tribute to Hum dubbed, “Songs Of Farewell And Departure: A Tribute To Hum“, and have put out a call to artists interested in taking part. So far The Esoteric, Funeral For A Friend, (Damn) This Desert Air and Anakin have signed on. More details can be found here.

Kind of what I was thinking. Technically I guess the never really did call it quits. They just kind of…stopped

@Ganglor – yeah man, they did just kinda stop. Not sure if they’re motivated enough to get it together full-time again? By the look of it they did a random show late ’09 and now this. Guess they’re fluffing around with other ‘projects’.
@allichs – indeed. I jumped on to their myself at work earlier today and listened to a few of their tks. ‘Shipyards of Foreign Cities’, ‘Don’t Waste Guts’, ‘Ramfaced Boy’…highly underrated. Epic tracks.
I.e. re-listened since it’s been awhile. I have and enjoy both of those records.
I also enjoy The Esoteric. The other bands are dead to me.
