Filter have begun streaming their new single “The Inevitable Relapse” online via their Myspace. The track is the first music to surface from the groups new album, “The Trouble With Angels“, which will see an August release date through Rocket Science Ventures.

Wow…I didn’t know these guys are still doin’ it….song isn’t too impressive but I’m interested in hearing more for sure.
I was quite the fan back in the day. First time I heard ‘Hey Man Nice Shot’ and ‘Jurassitol’ I was quite impressed. They haven’t been able to replicate anything as dark as those tks since (‘Take a Picture’? Umm…it does have a nice melody though, I guess).
Short Bus is a classic. Too bad they never did anything else like it after that.
Enough with the fucking CHER/autotune vocal effects already.
Everything else isn’t bad but it totally fails with that stupid fucking effect.

Pretty damn good, could have skipped the autotune vocals indeed, it does not add to the song, it does the opposite.
The amalgamut is a pretty damn good album…. but after that he went sober… damnit! Drugs are the key…
I’ll third that motion – autotune fuckin’ blows. If I wanted to listen to Li’l Wayne, I’d listen to… actually, I’d shoot myself. Rest of the tune’s OK… we’ll see what else comes out.
Finally, auto-tune applied to a decent song! I think we’ve all just grown to despise the auto-tune because of the shitty music that it has thus far been applied to. I’m actually enjoying this. Can’t wait to hear more.
