Shogun is pretty good…definately an improvement from The Crusade. Ugh. It was like they got tired of waiting for a new Metallica album, so they tried it themselves. Fuck that cd.

    • Am I the only one on here that loved The Crusade? Sure it’s not the most original thing ever written (and it’s no Shogun), but I do feel Trivium managed to inject their own sound into it. It always felt very inspired to me.

    • I’ve loved every album they’ve put out for what it is and I love how they’ve consistently progressed their sound. That said, so far Shogun is by far their masterpiece. But yeah, I definitely dug The Crusade quite a bit as well.
