Pantera’s “The Great Southern Trendkill” To Be Made Available For “Rock Band” Videogame Next Week

Pantera‘s “The Great Southern Trendkill” will serve as next weeks batch of premium downloadable content for the “Rock Band” videogame franchise. Original master recordings of all tracks from the album, sans the song “Suicide Note Pt. I“, will be made available for purchase this coming Tuesday, May 25th. The songs will be made available for purchase both individually and as a pack.

      why is it that the smartest decisions are the hardest to make for these big companies? ive been clamoring for this pack since i opened guitar hero 1.

    • Such a great GREAT Pantera record. Def cool for the rockband world…but I don’t play that shit, so whatever. Get the real instruments and play to it on CD. Now that’s the way you do it. Not on those stupid little colorized buttons on the neck…lame.

      I’m definitely getting this, even though Rock Band plays like total shit compared to Guitar Hero… Rock Band is cleaning house with such bad ass DLC. Activision needs to one up them with a goddamn Guitar Hero: Pantera already.

      Not only is it underrated as a Pantera album, it’ s probably one of the best metal albums period. I’d like some “Vulgar Display of Power” for my plastic instruments also please.
