I’ve always had a soft spot for Soilwork, but they’ve run their course in my book. This sounds exactly like everything they’ve written since Natural Born Chaos. I really enjoyed Figure Number Five, and Stabbing the Drama was solid. Sworn to a Great Divide didn’t do much for me, and this new song doesn’t either. Some of the guitar parts are cool, but it’s the same formulaic song.

I like it… solid… some bands I don’t want to change… and you gotta realize it’s only one song…. Got some sweet guitar parts too!

This doesn’t really sound like anything they’ve written before and god forbid, has an incredible solo. Huge step up over Sworn to a Great Divide and possibly better than Stabbing.
