Album cover definitely puts Results may Vary to shame. Can’t wait to hear this album. I also can’t wait to finally listen to the new As I Lay Dying and Taproot since I just got it in the mail today haha. Still listening to Diamond Eyes though.

But anyway great album cover I’m gonna listen to this in the meantime

That blog site was a failure. You can’t knock a band’s website when your own looks like shit. And I never realized that until today that the quality of a band’s twitter site is a direct reflection upon their music. Whoever wrote that blog is a fucking idiot.

@ButtCrackGuy. Maybe his site doesn’t look that great but his points are very valid. The only failure here is you basically defending a FORTY YEAR OLD rap rocker who dresses like a giant 5 yr old. But yea…

    • @Weird_White_Dude – Only point I can see being valid is point #4 because they do lack any presence on social networking sites. Anyway, Deftones didn’t have a solid design or a brand for Diamond Eyes until the album finally got a release date, and at the time I write this Gold Cobra has yet to get an official release date. Why spend the design/advertising budget on something that could easily get pushed back until later in the year? As for music and sound, that shit is subjective and cannot be defined as fact (though honestly hard to argue with him on this one). And as for the artistic integrity, certainly you can question theirs but that goes the same for any artist. And if you are basing this on releasing a Youtube video explaining the process AFTER the album is released then you best wait until Gold Cobra comes out to consider that valid either.

    • Nice album cover! Wes always makes good album covers. The worst LB album cover obviously is RMV with Fred’s face and that green. This one rivals Chocolate Starfish.

Regardless of what you or I think about Limp Bizkit, they have achieved enough fame/notoriety in their time where they don’t need to worry about facebook and twitter and websites to promote themselves. I’m not defending Fred Durst, but I don’t live in a world of computer nerds and I don’t know anyone else who would give a shit about the look of their myspace page. It’s bad when the hatred for a band is so extreme that when you can’t pick apart their music anymore, the next step is knocking their “social networking media outlets.” HTML rulz dood.

@buttcrackguy, pretty sure the last thing they put out was a total and utter failure because Fred refused to do any promotion. Look it up.

They did not promote The Unquestionable Truth on purpose. The reason for the failure is debatable. One could say it sucked. Or one could say no videos or radio play. Or that it sucked.

    • No promotion? Really? Because I remember for about a month on Adult Swim they played a commercial for The Unquestionable Truth every night through both runs.

ya know i thought for a minute that they were gonna give up all the hokey gimmicky party-rock fratboy shit and try to be the gritty dirty ugly noisy band that i think they can be deep down inside…. but after seeing their super shitty performance of their worst song on Jay Leno, they proved me wrong. but whatever. i try not to hate on them, cuz a lot of people do it for the wrong reasons, but goddamn they make it difficult not to hate them sometimes.

That cover is just so… just so… man, just… wow…. it’s beautiful. I… I have seen beauty. It’s the most beautiful thing ever. And tasteful, to boot.

I honestly get ooked out every time this band comes up now. Its like watching a dad hanging out at his highschool daughter’s party and drinking a beer. I can also see Fred getting ready to go on stage, take one look at Wes, and ask himself “WTF?”.

i love how the album cover portrays women to be gold digging sluts, in it for the cookie dough. i also love how self reliant limp bizkit are in there own producing and directing even down to the art work on the album.
