Snoop Dogg Drops Off Of Limp Bizkit Tour

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst recently revealed via his Twitter that Snoop Dogg will no longer be on their recently announced summer tour. No word has been given on a replacement yet.

In other news, Durst also revealed that the group will likely be playing their cover of George Michael‘s “Faith” tonight, May 11th, when they appear as the musical guest on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno“. Limp Bizkit will be releasing a new album dubbed “Gold Cobra” this summer with the new track “Douchebag” tentatively expected to serve as the first single from it.

Even though the tour’s not coming here, it would’ve been awesome to see Snoop. 3DBY was released in ’97, and they have a new album coming out soon, yet they choose to play Faith? Talk about poor business sense.

Ya, it’s pretty obvious Snoop woke up from his reefer induced coma and noticed he was scheduled to tour with Limp Bizkit. What the fizzle?? Get me the fizzle off that dizzle.

The Snoop thing is like…At this point he’d outdrawing LB in 80% of places anyways. Like, my mom knows who Snoop Dogg, ya know?

    • Maybe Ben Stiller could do a comedy routine with Fred as support? I’m sure Ben Stiller would be keen to continue his association with the band. It would certainly lift his profile.

Not gonna give any positive or negative comments until their new album comes out, but the stuff they leak sounds pretty bad. Listened to ‘Why Try’, and it was pretty damn disappointing.

Hey leave Benjamin alone Surlmeister, the guy’s been having problems coming up with meaningful projects since ‘Tropic Thunder’, that being said I was impressed with the realism he portrayed in ‘Greenberg’, especially that scene where he was talking philosophical whilst snorting on the coco leaf. It’s scenes like that I find so easy to connect with my multi-millionaire Actors. I especially appreciate his nearly 15 projects in development via imdb, I mean the guy apparently doesn’t sleep. I think I’ve come full circle with this reply…

    • Oh Aries, I’m not having a dig at Ben. He’s a card! I’m just making reference to his cameo on the ‘Rollin” video and also all that senseless banter at the end of Starfish. I’m sure he regrets that little slip up these days. I’m secretly looking forward to the forthcoming Meet the Fockers 2. Yes, I have a jovial, soft side too.

Yes, I’m sure almost everyone (except Pauly Shore, and Carson Daly) regret making any cameo on any LB related video or performance. I did not know they had another Meet The Fockers coming out…I will have to investigate further…

Little Fockers! Soo clever! I especially like how Laura Dern is making an appearance. I don’t think i’ve seen her in a film since Jurassic Park. Oh man, Dinosaurs come back to life! What a wonderful cinematic journey that was!
