The Damned Things To Play Debut Show In Brooklyn, NY In June
The Damned Things will play their first ever live show at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY on June 01st. Static Summer will also be on the bill. As previously reported, The Damned Things are a new group featuring Every Time I Die‘s Keith Buckley, Anthrax‘s Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano and Fall Out Boy‘s Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman, among others.
The group have been in the studio as of late finishing up work on their debut effort and will also be playing the following European shows in June:
June 04th Nurburgring, GER – Rock AM Ring
June 05th Nuremberg, GER – Rock IM Park
June 06th Brussels, BEL – VK
June 08th Amsterdam, NET – Melkweg
June 10th London, UK – Heaven
June 12th Copenhagen, DEN – Copenhell
June 13th Donnington, UK – Download Festival

Buckley is the man, I am certainly looking forward to this.
“Super Groups” can go either way and to be honest i don’t have high expectations for this BUT being a Buckley/ETID fan and a HUGE fan of Belladonna Era Anthrax I’ll have to check it out just in case it’s actually awesome.

It’s supposed to be metal… most of the guys in FOB actually were in metal bands before that disaster.

If the flaming buttraper bassist from FOB was part of this project I wouldn’t be down with it, but anything with Scott Ian is cool with me. And Keith Buckley is pretty cool when his ego isn’t overshadowing the music.
