Norma Jean have posted a teaser for their new album “Meridional” online via Noisecreep. The video, which can also be found below, teases the albums artwork to bands new track, “The Anthem Of The Angry Brides“.
“Meridional” is set for a July 13th release date through Razor & Tie.

The Anti-Mother was a solid disc. This looks like it has potential.

After O’ God they’ve pretty much been downhill. I’m all for a band progressing and expanding their horizons, but the last 2 albums have been garbage. Chino couldn’t even save it. This sample sounds like it has potential. Hopefully Cory has dropped the guitar and stuck solely to vocals. The less clean vocals from him the better in my opinion.

I bought ‘Bless the Martyr, Kiss The Child’, and listened to it like 3 times. I downloaded ‘Redeemer’ because Ross did it, and it was ok, but nothing special. I would much prefer to listen to Drop Dead, Gorgeous than these guys. That being said, the song in this trailer sounds decent.

Based on the short clip it sounds like a fusion of O’ God and newer Converge… hopefully this album is a pleasant surprise to all of those who thought they lost their brutality. Album artwork looks fucking bad ass too.

The teaser sounds refreshing. Everybody seems to be thinking the same thing: Let’s hope this album is better than The Anti-Mother and Redeemer. It’s sounds better than anything on their previous two releases.
