I bet thats the only good 20 seconds of the album, when Fred screams, sounds dope, but then he puts his dumb normal voice and its like “rolling rolling rolling, come on!!” Barf bag anyone? sounds like Wes getting a little technical too, like in $3

    • @Surly – Album of the year Surly…Album of the year. Just messing with ya, though I will say it was nice to finally hear a piece of new material that wasn’t being completely contaminated by Fred’s bad lyrics/rapping.

    • it’s obvious why limp bizkit and deftones news are getting the most comments, i was raised on these bands so i’m glad they are getting attention, i’m excited as hell for this new LB album, it’s been a decade and then some since they were on top of the world, there’s a different generation now…but yeah i was from the last one so i’m nostalgic as fuck, and tired of everything metalcore and deathcore right now, idc what anyone says, i’m happy LB are making music, nothing is FUN to listen to anymore, you know what i mean? i’m tired of every band these days trying to just one up the other in their ‘core’ genre with more technicality, this will be a nice break in that and sounds as solid as LB has ever been. Fred has a grating voice yes, but for some reason, without him it just wouldn’t sound right at all. LB is a great band with a hypeman for a vocalist basically, so once you accept that, you can enjoy what they bring to the table.

You can call me a hater all you want, in the event that the album is good I have no problem admitting it and listening to it. The only reason I’m “drinking the hatorade” (didn’t that saying die in 2001?) is because anything they have done after “3 dollar bill ya’ll” sucked with the exception of a few tracks off “significant other”, “boiler” off of “hotdog flavored water”, and “eat you alive” off of “Results May Vary”. “The Unquestionable Truth” was well-intentioned but sucked nontheless. Im not a person who “hates” on something song unheard, I heard everything they have done and hated most of it. Of course this is only my opinion, but in the case of Limp Bizkit, I happen to be right.

I just wanted to comment on how Fred Durst is quite possibly the … SHIT! Hold on.. My phone’s ringing.
It was my mom. She’s old as hell and still knows that the state of “this core” and post rectal posi-metal with the “i’m better than you because I heard that Cave In is playing old stuff again” type mentality makes all of these internet sparring contests a waste of time. Screw this, I’m going to listen to Bill Burr rip on some facking idiots in Philly. Elitists can walk away and listen to obscure, misunderstood FroSty mEtal from a tortured Norwegian artist on a bus somewhere.

    • i really liked some of the instrumental in their last CD.. if fred can even just do a decent job on holding back all the things i hate about him, it could be a good album..

@ 9 ounce prime, I think i’m going to take the elitest walk through the frosty metal forest in Norway. Oh snap, you said there was a bus??

Yes Mr. Veil. And it’s more fun on the bus (think Satyricon, Paysage D’Hiver) because you can close your eyes and imagine the motion as being carried through said frosty forest on mammoth back. I just did it oh the train the other day whilst listening to Krypt, and the entire trip went by faster than an Arctic Summer.
