Not bad, not bad at all.
It was iffy at first, then that vintige Far chorus came in, really strong track, looking forward to the leak…er I mean album
That does not sound like Dave Sardy quality production. Sounds like a song that would be be mixed into a movie for 30 seconds or used in a commercial.
Other than the disappointing and unchallenging sound production, it’s sort of catchy. It’s missing some of that Far “tenderness” but that’s okay.
Far has an unreleased instrumental titled “Bingo” that’s named after Dave Sardy’s mother; it’s over 8 minutes long and completely beautiful; I was hoping they would have gone a little in that direction. Nothing beats the production dynamics of Water & Solutions except maybe some of Sardy’s Barkmarket stuff.
Heh heh. I wish MY mom’s name was Bingo…
I hate to say but I’m not digging this track at all. I just hope this is one of the shittier tracks on the album.
I’m more excited to hear this when it’s retail version is released, than I am a leaked version. Unlike Deftones leak, which I’m loving, I know what to expect when it’s retail is released. Much like @Stereotypical Evil Archer hinted at, the production by Sardy will be the clincher here. It does have a lot of similiarity to material on Water and Solutions though. Can’t wait for it to come out!!
