Silent Civilian have made their new video for their track “Last One Standing” available online, you can watch it below. The band filmed the clip with director Scott Hansen (Bury Your Dead, Evergreen Terrace). The song serves as the first single from the bands new album “Ghost Stories“, which will see a May 18th release date through Mediaskare.

What happened to the Spineshank reunion?
Good question. There’s a TBA 2010 list on their wiki entry in terms of a new record. But like anything of there, it needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
this is a step above their debut album for sure. More thrashy, less core but still has that “sing along chorus”…and yes, the Spineshank reunion…they toured and put a demo on their myspace…but since then nothing.

Yeah I did enjoy Spineshank way more than Silent Civilian. Silent Civilian’s first album was actually decent, but it felt a little forced to follow the metalcore trends. And yes, people will talk shit about spineshank being nu metal, but I always thought they rocked. Fuck new Silent Civilian…let’s get Spineshank back. Especially since the only other “nu-metal” band worth talking about, Nothingface, ain’t ever gonna give us a new album!
I liked the second Spineshank record a lot.
