HELLYEAH To Tour With Seether, Five Finger Death Punch And More
HELLYEAH are beginning to map out their touring plans in support of their upcoming new album which is tentatively due out on June 01st. So far the group have revealed a handful of stops which will see them team up with Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, Drowning Pool and Lacuna Coil.
Speaking on the trek band drummer Vinnie Paul offered the following:
“Hey rockers, it’s VINNIE PAUL here……we have a big announcement next week as we get ready for the “STAMPEDE 2010″ to begin….IT’S OOOOOON!!!! HELLYEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Dates announced thus far run as follows:
May 11th Madison, WI – Alliant Energy Center
May 18th La Crosse, WI – La Crosse Center Arena
May 19th Peoria, IL – Peoria Civic Center
May 22nd Milwaukee, WI – Eagles Ballroom (Seether only)

First Uproar, then that juggalo shitshow and now this. I’m pretty sure a tour of third world public bathrooms would be more artistic than all of these shows combined.

SHITYEAH will be bringing their semi that they converted into a stage to the parking lots of each and every date on this tour
You know, they could just condense all of these tours (Uproar, Juggalo, Hellyeah) and call it Ozzfest 2010. It’s like killing 3 birds with one stone.
Somehow I knew Seether would end up on one of these shitty tours though, pretty sure I called this like 3 threads ago.
If this was an affordable show (which it probably won’t be) I’d pay to see Lacuna Coil. Two of their albums are pretty great in my opinion and Scabbia is babe-a-licious.
I hate to say this, because Nothingface is one of my favorite bands of all time, and I think the world of Maxwell, but HELLYEAH is shit. Probably what I hate most about HELLYEAH, aside from the obvious shitty music, is when they get called a “super group.” A super group would make super music. These fellows do not.
Yeah I’m a huge fan of everything Pantera and Nothingface, so I would think this Hellyeah thing should be pretty decent, but I’m just as disappointed as everyone else. I think we can however put most of the blame on Chad Butthole Gray.
And aside from Kittie’s new touring mates, they really couldn’t have picked a worse bunch of washed up nobodys to tour with. I wouldn’t even go for free.

…and sadly most of the dates so far are in my home state of Wisconsin. How misrepresented we are…

I do like Drowning Pool. I show love, respect, and full support for any band and/or artist that isn’t afraid to be patriotic, and they fall into that category. They’re just hard rock anyway, there are times when I don’t feel like bashing my brains out and I need to mellow it out a little bit. The last album is one that I like to play when I’m out working in my garage.

In the fall I went to see Shadows Fall, who were opening for 5 Finger Butt Munch, as I like to call them! I had never heard these guys before, but man, I didn’t need to hear them, since they just LOOKED really bad to begin with. Sure enough, it was in fact a giant shit ball or at least the one song I tried to sit through. Wow, that is some rough stuff, but somehow the crowd really eats it up. I can’t figure it out.
And yes, kudos to buttcrackguy for being able to listen to Drowning Pool. Clearly you have a larger set than most of us, since most would not be able to admit to that. Why isn’t Saliva on this tour? They have the same amount of suckitude as the rest of these bands.
This tour, the Kittie tour… I’m just glad they keep this shit together and out of the tours I’m planning to see. And buttcrack – heh, you’re bang on… super-band HELLYEAH is not. Let’s change their name to FUCKNO!
I haven’t listened to Drowning Pool regularly in quite some time, but I can safely say that I still think their first album rocks

I love Nothingface but I do not like Bring Me The Horizon. I don’t think you can really compare anyone to NF. I even went back and gave BMTH a second listen on myspace and I don’t like it.

Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, Drowning Pool do not belong on this tour…as they do not suck. That’s right, I said it…FFDP most of all, that is one damn talented band. No one can stop anyone from saying otherwise, but then again that doesn’t stop FFDP from being talented either.
He speaks the truth. The only thing stopping these bands from being talented is having no talent whatsoever.
Well there goes that idea, since they do have talent. Eh, say what you will…doesn’t change a thing:)
