“There is no sitting down on this one! We nicknamed this tour the Ballroom Blitz because that’s what we want to see out there, the die-hard Korn fans going nuts on the floor.”
Meanwhile speaking on the groups forthcoming new album “Korn III: Remember Who You Are“, Davis commented with the following:
“It was the first time we’ve worked with Ross since our 2nd album and these were the types of gigs we played back then. Those early tours were some of the best times of our lives. Now we are looking to bring that vibe back in a big way.”
“Korn III: Remember Who You Are“, which was produced by Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Glassjaw), is tentatively set for a release this June. In the meantime, the band plan to offer special VIP packages for the above-mentioned tour through their official website www.korn.com which will enable fans to hear advance tracks from the album and more.

Oh good, the chance for their “fans” to hate the new album before the rest of us get to…
I thought they gave the tour that name in honor of the song of the same name, but instead, it’s in honor to their die-hard fans; dreadlocked/cornrowed 40 year old burn outs.
ahhh the obligatory “return to form album”, looking forward to bagpipes, barat-a-tat oka oh, and a bunch of words rhyming with follow. BOOOOIIIIITTTTTT!!!!
This tour has more “intimate” venues smaller venues because Korn’s missing 2 of their original band members. The band isn’t nearly as bankable anymore. I’ll be surprised if they headline any big festivals this summer. And while they now refuse to take a clean Head back they’re really missing the big paychecks. Instead of dividing 10 mill (on a tour with bigger venues than this one) between five, they’re now dividing less than half than that between four. I could be wrong though.
What do you mean they refuse to take a clean Head back?
so is it called 3 cause its the 3rd album they have done with ross, or cause there are only 3 original members left?
This album is going to kick some ass. Ross Robinson has grown as a producer since he last produced a KoRn record, and KoRn has grown as musicians sicne they last worked with Ross. KoRn’s live performace has never been better, and as musicians they are at their absolute prime. But I still am looking forward to getting that deftones album in my hands.
Korn is still a major headliner. The popular belief around here is that they suck, but I can tell you that I never miss Korn when they come around, and they have a great live show. There is force that comes over a stadium full of people when Korn takes the stage like no other band I have seen before. Even with 25,000 people, it still feels intimate. I love big shows and festivals, and no other band takes over a crowd like Korn. Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera, all great but not ever did one of those bands touch a Korn show, and I’ve been going to shows since the early 90′s.
