Metal Hammer Reportedly Putting Together Black Sabbath Tribute Album
Metal Hammer magazine are said to be in the early stages of putting together a tribute album to Black Sabbath, who recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut earlier this year. So far the likes of Cavalera Conspiracy, Prong, Apocalyptica, Electric Wizard and Orange Goblin are said to be onboard for the release with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks.

remember when they did this like 15 years ago and it was called Nativity in Black? Then they made a second one!
Yeah, since two already exist, both put out nearly 15 years ago, I guess that means one can’t be put now featuring completely different bands attempting to pay respect to one of the greatest.
I expect this to be a lot better then the Pantera tribute put out a few months back.
I expect this to be shit, especially since Cavalera Conspiracy, Prong, Apocalyptica, Electric Wizard and Orange Goblin are the biggest acts named. Wizard and Goblin may follow in Sabbath’s footsteps, but I don’t expect anything special from them. However I am anxious to see how Cavalera can butcher a Sabbath song.
There will never be another gem like Ugly Kid Joe did with N.I.B.
