Ganglor……Last time Limp Bizkit was at the height of their popularity on the pop charts, they brought us Puddle of Mudd. Do I need to say more? Fred Dursts mocks music. Whatever that shit is that he does is no really only appealing to foreigners who don’t understand what he says, shit I don’t understand what he is talking about. The only thing I take away from LB is if a girl fucks you over, beat that bitch, tear the world apart, blame everything besides yourself, and do whatever you can to be a celebrity.

I think Gaga’s performances alone are 10x better than anything Fred Durst has done in his entire career. Find me one time were Gaga wasn’t at least somewhat entertaining in her silly outfits and crazy dance numbers. What does Durst do? Jump up and down in his red had? Enough said.

@Ganglor – It was intentional with the last line being a shitty LB style rap. I never said that the band itself wasn’t talented musicians, I mean in comparison to the Pop artists you referenced like Ke$ha and Lady Gaga, they are supremely more talented. The fact of the matter is, I have 10x more respect for Gaga than I do for Durst. At least she’s going out of her way to challenge the preconcieved notions of a Pop Star (ala Madonna/Marilyn Manson). All Durst ever did was wear puffy coats, pretend to get arressted, and lie abotu fucking Britney Spears. He never had one memorable performance other than that of RapeStock, and that only fueled the jock rockers to adore him even more. I would way rather go to a Gaga concert, over a Bizkit concert, even if I might prefer the music of the latter. I don’t want to point out the obvious, but I think making comparisons about Ke$ha and Gaga are like apples and oranges, Gaga can sing, Ke$ha looks like she was picked up on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, with a needle in her arm. She can’t sing, she can’t dance, and worst of all, no one will remember her name in 2 weeks. Gaga on the other hand, is like the female equivelant to Marilyn Manson for the 13 year old girl demographic. She will continue to mature until she gets to be 45 and rocking serious biceps like her idol Madonna. She can also belt it out, and play piano in surpringly non-functioning outfits. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t buy a song/album to save my life, but I do think she’s at least somewhat talented and entertaining. I can’t say the same for Fred Durst.

The response to this news is un-fucking-believable. Not even the news of Adam Lambert joining Slayer as their new lead singer could outdo this one. I have no idea who Paul Wall is. I had the Wu-Tang Clan cd 15 years ago and Raekwon was always my least favorite of the bunch. Him and Ironman or whatever his name was. Who is Kesha and how did it become part of this discussion? The best news of all, actually, is that Kanye West is not making an appearance on the new Bizkit album. I hate that fucker.

Limp Bizkit owns fuck haters. It’s been over 10 years and people still rip on them like it’s the thing to do. I’d rather listen to the new album from one of my favorite bands from back in the day then listen to any of the absolute shit that’s put out now.

Don’t be surprised to hear auto-tune on that album though…I just gotta a strange feeling Fred Durst is gonna sound like a crying robot on some songs. I hope not…but either way I look forward to it. I’m still a Limp Bizkit fan but they have had some shitty songs.

It’s one or two things their either gonna go with the times and put out.
something using pro-tools and over produce the shit out of it and make it good or their gonna finally go for the old school sound from 97-99. Either way it’s gonna be better than The Unquestionable Truth or Rage Against The Bizkit.

I’m glad the band everyone loves to hate is back.

I applaud wookbus for keeping me updated on this. And obviously the people that hate Limp Bizkit care too because if they didn’t care they wouldn’t have commented on it.

There is a difference though. With Limp Bizkit you had people who could play instruments, write music, and come up with (while shitty) catchy lyrics. At least back then if these nu-metal bands wanted to make their music they made it themselves while with shit like Ke$ha or Lady Gaga, they find these people who can actually sing (Youtube it!) and dumb them down, write their music, and tell them to dance monkey dance. I prefer the nu-metal scene if anything because it’s a little less depressing than watching these artists being creatively curb stomped by the labels. Also Vanilla Ice’s “The Horny Song” off that album is good, McDonald’s Coffee all of the way, and the last sentence of your post sounds like a LB lyric.
