    • Come on Ganglor. Admit it…you so own this record and constantly got down with the sickness. Shit, I’ll admit that I even bought it back in the day. Oh, no, now that confession was a bad move…..

    • I am happy to say I have never owned said record and never got down with the sickness. Somehow I managed to stay away from the Disturbed/Drowning Pool era of music. And you’re right, that confession was a bad move, and I’ll make sure you’ll never forget it…

    • I owned it and listened to it quite a bit back in the day. A solid album. I lost my copy, and I haven’t really listened to much of their stuff since, so I’ll probably be revisiting Disturbed when this reissue comes out. Hey, it’s a stellar piece of my musical past. No regrets, no shame. Thoughts, Ganglor?

    • @Viking – That’s cool man, I have albums like that too. Honestly I can’t comment on if it’s a solid album or not because I have never listened to it in it’s entirety. I just can’t give it/them a chance though due to the fact that I hear a Disturbed song at least 2 to 3 times a day on the radio (strange enough it was played much more than that when I was in Florida recently) and it’s just worn me down. And after reading numerous interviews with their lead singer I just can’t help but think he’s an industrial sized bag of douche. And if not for the interviews I would have lost respect for them after hearing the lyric “you come on like a blood stained hurricane.” *face palm*

    • @Ganglor – haha yeah some of those lyrics were pretty lame. I actually haven’t heard/seen much of them at all in a long time (of course, aside from the occasional Down With The Sickness radio play), so I don’t really know anything about the band anymore, just that I used to enjoy that album. Damn, now I’m actually sorta looking forward to this reissue! Now THAT is a confession lol.

    • Wow, the lyrics to The Sickness are quite intense. Never paid attention to them. Singer dude is pretty angry, Case in point,

“Why don’t you just fuck off and die
Why can’t you just fuck off and die
Why can’t you just leave here and die
Never stick your hand in my face again bitch
      FUCK YOU
      I don’t need this shit
You stupid sadistic abusive fucking whore
How would you like to see how it feels mommy
Here it comes, get ready to die..”

    • Now THAT… is deep.
Does this really need a re-release? Aren’t there enough copies floating around in bargain bins throughout North America? I can’t wait for the re-release of “Jingle Bells” sung by a bunch of cats… maybe they’ll tour together!!! One can only hope.

    • Hey guys lets make a comparison here, of how original disturbed are

      as mentioned before:

the sickness was released in 2000:

“Why don’t you just fuck off and die
Why can’t you just fuck off and die
Why can’t you just leave here and die
Never stick your hand in my face again bitch
      FUCK YOU
      I don’t need this shit
You stupid sadistic abusive fucking whore
How would you like to see how it feels mommy
Here it comes, get ready to die..”

Korn life is peachy released in 1996:

“Looking back I was never ever right
You were my step-mom who always wanted me out of your sight
I would come walkin’ in and I ‘d say hello,
but you slap me and you make some fucked up comment about my
      clothes
But I tried to let it pass, but the visions in my head
were with you, with a knife up your ass, laying dead
so I pop some more caps in your ass,
Now your son is not so fun
Motherfucking bitch! Never try to play me!!!

You made my life not so (good)

      All I wanna do!
      is kill you
      All I wanna do!
      is kill you
      All I wanna do!
(You are not my real mother)
      Is kill you
(Should I beat and stab and fuck her?)
      All I wanna do!
(You are not my real mother)
      Is kill you
(Should I beat and stab and fuck her?)”

      Case closed.
