Hatebreed Pondering Recording Second Covers Album
Hatebreed look to be to be tossing around the idea of recording a second covers album. The band had the following to say about that on their official Twitter:
“If we do a For The Lions 2 who’s songs should we record? We were thinking Napalm Death, Exodus, Warzone, Biohazard, Entombed, Bolt Thrower.”
An additional posting on Twitter by the band further mapped out potential cover choices and reads as follows:
“Other bands for For The Lions 2 – Destruction, Unbroken, Exhorder, Poison Idea, Motorhead, Murphys Law, Kreator, Sodom, Killing Time etc”
The bands previous covers release, “For The Lions“, was released in May of last year and saw the band tackle tracks from the likes of Slayer, Metallica, Sepultura and more.

Please what ever you do, do not cover punishment by Biohazard. I can already hear how Hatebreed would do it and I don’t like it
I actually liked For The Lions, some good band choices in there, maybe not the songs I would have expected from those bands, but they covered it well. But I can only take Hatebreed in moderation. They have a knack for making every song sound just like the last one.
