Mayhem presale tickets go on sale April 2 and tickets go on sale to the general public on April 16th at LiveNation.com. Check www.mayhemfest.com for more info.
The ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL has become the summer’s hottest ticket by giving fans the opportunity to experience a thrilling mix of hard music’s most influential artists and exciting young voices. This summer’s lineup turns up the heat with a main stage lineup that sees KORN and ROB ZOMBIE joined by LAMB OF GOD and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH. The JAGERMEISTER stage will feature HATEBREED, CHIMAIRA, SHADOWS FALL, WINDS OF PLAGUE and the JAGERMEISTER Battle of The Bands Winner. The second stage will spotlight ATREYU, NORMA JEAN, IN THIS MOMENT and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD.
The World’s Greatest Freestyle Motocross team, METAL MULISHA, will return to rev up audiences with their unique style of death-defying motorcycle stunts. Also featured on this year’s tour will be the bombastic BEACHER’S MADHOUSE, a sexy costume party combined with outrageous variety acts, beautiful dancers, scantily-clad Beacher’s Babies, DJ’s and so much more. Comedian Jay Oakerson (seen on Comedy Central) will also be on hand to deliver an onslaught of unbridled awesomeness and raunchy rock n roll comedy.
The ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL will be the first major city tour for KORN in support of their 9th studio album, tentatively titled Korn III – Remember Who You Are. The new album marks the return of producer Ross Robinson, who worked with Korn on their first two releases, Korn and Life is Peachy. Lead vocalist Jonathan Davis has said that the new material matches the pure raw emotion of Korn‘s early releases while the current touring band has never been tighter. “It’s the perfect mix,” says Davis, “and Mayhem is the perfect place to set it off. We can’t wait for the fans to hear it!”
ROB ZOMBIE is gearing up for the February 2nd release of his Roadrunner / Loud & Proud debut Hellbilly Deluxe 2. Over the course of the past 18 years, Zombie has sold more than 15 million records as a solo artist and with his former band, White Zombie. Says Zombie, “It’s been over a decade since my last tour with Korn, so this pairing is long overdue. Mayhem will be one amazingly destructive way to spend the summer. ”
The ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL is produced by Rockstar Taste of Chaos organizer John Reese, Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and Creative Artists Agency. The trio has made Mayhem a standout on the summer concert circuit by following the proven model of utilizing sponsorship to deliver a lower ticket price and an enhanced concert experience. This year sees them joining forces once again with ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK as the title sponsor.
“When we started this tour three years ago, one of our primary goals was to develop new artists,” say Lyman and Reese. “So we’re extremely proud of Five Finger Death Punch, who were a side stage band during year one and are now a main stage act. Mayhem has quickly become a powerful brand by assembling a monster-sized lineup of heavy hitting artists and unparalleled excitement at an affordable price. It’s a tour of not-to-be-missed moments. The fans recognize this and have responded.”
Live Nation is co-producer of the tour and will promote the festival nationally.
“The Mayhem team has done it again. The Mayhem Festival has become one of the premier traveling music festivals of the summer drawing more than 600,000 hard rock music fans to our amphitheaters in 2008 and 2009,” said Jason Garner, Chief Executive Officer of Global Music at Live Nation. “With Rob Zombie and Korn, Mayhem 2010 is sure to have another huge summer.”
LAMB OF GOD just received a Grammy nomination for “Best Metal Performance” for “Set To Fail” from their most recent release, Wrath, which entered Billboard’s Top 200 at No. 2.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH‘s current album, War Is the Answer, debuted at # 7 on the Billboard charts. They were on the first-ever ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL in 2007 and have since established themselves as one of America’s most popular hard rock/ metal bands.
In addition to catching their favorite bands, Mayhem-goers can enjoy a plethora of festival activities, including playing the newest video games, perusing vendors, attending autograph signing sessions and a slew of other interactive activities that enhance the concert experience.
ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK will be sampling their products and providing great surprises for attendees. Additional sponsors include Jagermeister, The DiNGSTORE.com (Device Personalization Company), Harley Davidson, Century Media and Metal Injection. Additional sponsor details will be announced shortly.
FUEL-TV and Revolver Magazine (who will produce the Official Tour Program) have signed on as official ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL media partners. Additional sponsors will be announced soon.
“In its third year the ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL has become our marquee music presentation,” says Mike Kelso, Marketing Director Rockstar Energy Drink. “Huge crowds and great bands make for an amazing summer road show and Rockstar is proud to bring it to music fans throughout the country.”
Specific dates, cities and additional information will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans can go to www.mayhemfest.com and www.LiveNation.com keep up with details as they are released.”

COMMENTS
When is everyone going to realize that Five Finger Death Punch sucks worse than my ex-girlfriend in a bj contest?!?!
And the lineup on the Mayhem festival stage is so bad it’s almost Warped Tour worthy.
And no death metal this year?!
Wow this concert sucks. Looks like they are following the trend of what Ozzfest did. The Jagermeister Stage is the only reason why I would go. I agree with 36ChimairaFists, FFDP are horrible. They resemble what drowning pool and disturbed where back in the early 00′s. No death or extreme metal? Because when I think of Mayhem I think of Korn, FFDP, Norma Jean, In This Moment (yuck!), and Atreyu. Yet again another lackluster summer metal tour. I say just save you money and go to Wacken.
chimaira and LOG are reasons enough to go
We’re gonna party like it’s 1999 all over again with that main stage!!!!
WHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Aside from the Shadows Fall stage… MEH! with a capital MEH!!!!
Zombie’s always a fun show, KoRn ran it’s course in 2000 and hasn’t done an original or interesting thing since 98.
AAAAAAAnnnnd LOG will end up playing to 25% full amphitheaters since most of their fans will be at the Hatebreed or Chimeria stages not only while Five Finger is on stage but probably most people will be filing into the main area during LOG’s set.
I’ll save my money rather than drive from NYC to that dump in Homdel or go to CT, either way I go it’s a 90+ minute drive to either local and I bet tickets for an actual seat that isn’t the lawn will be no less than 95 bucks.
Fuck that.
I wanted to see Jay-Z in concert here in NY but I’m not paying 115 bucks to sit in the second to last row of the Nassau Colliseum, or spending 226 for a floor seat. I’lll use that money for bud, punch & pie.
its not going to take 45 minutes for people to get from the second stage to the main, LOG will be playing to plenty of people
The name of the tour should be “Faggot Fest 2010″. Seriously, this is the worst lineup ever. I fucking hate all these bands except Winds of Plague. Definately! not attending. Going to drink beer instead. Whoever got these bands is a fucking idiot
I guess Winds of Plague are this year’s Whitechapel, filling in the boring deathcore slot.
They are this years Whitechapel, no doubt. I wish they would give them a band to compliment them, and I might consider going.
lol @ the guy who thinks winds of plague is the only good band
I’m a bit disappointed that my Sacramento date has been rubbed out. Seemed like a pretty full house last year too, but maybe this is a preemptive economy thing. Either way, I’ll do my very best to get to this one. I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but no less than four of these bands were also on the last Ozzfest tour. The free one.
Ozzfest without the Osbournes.
BOOOOOOOOOO. What a fuckin stupid lineup. Who the hell is picking these bands? Fuck there hasn’t been a good tour line-up in quiet some time.
I second Tom.
There is not one single band on this tour that is worth going to see.
LoG is just rehashed Pantera, there records are boring. They are decent live, but who gives a shit if you don’t like American metalcore.
Seriously, this tour blows.
I’d rather hit up Warped Tour and see Bring Me The Horizon than any of these bands.
I third Tom. I’m just waiting for the big 4 tour, and it sucks now that Slayer had to drop off the Testament/Megadeth tour.
Soo… is Ozzfest still coming back or what? They keep saying it is but then they get real hush hush again. I think it’s gonna end up where Sharon comes out saying she was misquoted and never said that it would return, simply because all the interesting bands that would sell tickets committed to this tour.
I’m overall disappointed by this lineup myself, but I am shocked at how many people are saying EVERY band on this tour blows.
I don’t see how you can be a fan of heavy music and not be into Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and Chimaira no matter how relatively successful they are. I’ll probably go just too see these guys.
But the entire Mayhem Festival Stage and Five Finger Death Punch is more than enough suck for sure.
minus hatebreed the jager stage seems ok, wop is fuckin awesome, and chimaira is always good live, but log is going to bend over korn and all the other shitty numetal bullshit on this bill
