System Of A Down To Return?
There may be some signs of life in the System Of A Down camp depending on how you interpret a posting made on the Twitter account of band bassist Shavo Odadjian last night. The posting simply reads “Are u guys ready for System???”, leading some to speculate that the group may be ending their hiatus which has been ongoing since 2006.
Seemingly backing this up is a System Of A Down Twitter page that was also recently updated and referenced by Odadjian which can be found here. Given the nature of the news it is not yet clear on whether or not the posting was just wishful thinking or a sign of things to come.

Even IF they got in the studio together, these guys have changed too much to be the same band they were.
But as always, rest assured when the money runs out they’ll be playing the back catalog

I don’t think they ever changed anything about themselves. I would love to see them back together, but if not I’d be happy with some more Scars on Broadway.
Yeah, lord knows I love me some System of a Daron. Once he started singing the majority of the songs, it was over.
It’d be cool to see them back together again, I haven’t found myself as interested in Scars or Serj’s solo stuff.

i didnt like the double cd they made. so im sure it wont be very good.
I love Daron as a guitarist and a songwriter but II hate the fact that Daron took more of a role vocally in the last two albums. LET SERG SING!!! While ok in small doses, any SOAD song that features Daron as a singer I just tune out. Serg is the frontman and Daron is the guitarist with mystique!
