Nonpoint’s Cover Of Pantera’s “5 Minutes Alone” Available Online
Nonpoint recorded a cover of Pantera‘s “5 Minutes Alone” as an online bonus track for Metal Hammer‘s upcoming tribute album to fallen Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott. The song itself can be found here, while thoughts from the band on their choice to cover it are available here.
The tribute album itself will be packaged with Metal Hammer‘s upcoming 200th issue, which is due out in stores on December 16th. As previously reported, the track listing for it is as follows:

Holy crap this cover sucks. The line up for this tribute CD average at best, FFDP, Avenged SevenFold, Non-Point, please. The guitars on this CD sound like it was recorded on a tape recorder and the solo was shitty. I think Shadows Fall, Testament, SLAYER! and Nevermore would have done a MUCH better job
It’s not a “online bonus track” as much as it is so terrible that Metal Hammer would want two bands no one has heard (Sylosis, Kiuas) instead of them. Even Throwdowntera is more listenable.
