Machine Head Perform Pantera Cover Live In Dallas, TX, Footage Available
Machine Head performed their cover of Pantera‘s “Fucking Hostile” live in Dallas, TX earlier this week. Footage of the band performing the song can be found below:
The studio version of the cover will appear on Metal Hammer‘s upcoming tribute to Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott. As previously reported, the track listing for the effort, which will come packaged with the 200th issue of “Metal Hammer” (on sale December 16th), runs as follows:

That was… awful. No emotion to it at all. They should have had In Flames do it… best cover of that song I’ve ever heard, off their Used and Abused DVD.
This is by far the most relentless touring cycle I’ve ever witnessed (or at least cared enough about to notice).
Go record a NEW FUCKING ALBUM ALREADY! The Blackening is starting to turn gray..
There’s been a lot of rumblings about how they need to just get off touring and back into the studio.
I hope they resurrect their Supercharger sound…..
As much as I’d like to hear a bunch of bands possibly butchering covers of my favorite band of all time, I’m gonna go ahead and pass on ever hearing that Metal Hammer compilation.
Although, It could make for good laughs listening to some of those guys try and duplicate some of Dime’s solo. As the saying goes, Often imitated. Never duplicated.
