All the way up to that point I was getting amped for a legendary tour. Then I learned it was just a gay grammy thing. In my opinion Lamb of God would be a worthy replacement of modern day Anthrax in the “Big Four”.
Lastly, speaking of Judas Priest, you guys should check out Halford’s Christmas album. I heard it on XM last night, and it’s so hilarious. Almost embarrassing to listen to.

Yes, once again the Grammy’s blew it. No Mastodon just shows how little the people voting have no clue about music. Much like the fact that every time Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and U2 release an album they get nominated for multiple awards. This has nothing to do with actually listening to the music, for the most part. There were some artists, in other categories, who were definitely deserving of their nominations. However, when a group like Silversun Pickups are being nominated for best new artist when they their first album over 4 years ago, it just shows how uninformed the Grammy’s are.
Yah pretty dissapointed with the Mastodon snub. Blood Mountain got a nomination a few years ago.
