Far To Release 7″ “Pony” Single Overseas
Far will be releasing a limited edition 7″ picture disc overseas on November 30th for their cover of Ginuwine‘s “Pony“. The b-side of the release will feature an acoustic version of the title track which was performed at San Francisco, CA’s “Live 105“. More details, including audio samples, can be found here.
Far are expected to release their new album early next year through Vagrant.

I’m a little worried of what the new stuff is going to sound like. There are so many bands that have been reuniting and putting out shitty comeback records lately. I hope it isn’t the case with Far.
You can still chuck on Water & Solutions and it’s still so fresh sounding…..
That album hasn’t aged at all, much like Deftones ‘Around The Fur’.

For sure. I love Water & Solutions. Such an honest and humble piece of work. It’s funny that you mention Around The Fur. I still remember jamming two these two albums back to back. 1998 was such a great year. Takes me back…
Don’t get me wrong, the Deftones are still amazing. Chino is in extremely fine form once again. However, the Around the Fur era was pretty special hey. When that came out I was speechless. Their first ever tour of Sydney was ’98; so coming off the back of its release/success, they were on fire. To be there hearing MX played live in a tiny club was very, very cool.
