One of the few bands from that era whom I can still listen to. Hopefully Tony McBaldy Brummel does more for them than Atlantic was able to. These days where numerous hardcore, deathcore and metalcore bands pop out from every corner, I'd much rather listen to Taproot's old albums. Their previous album was more of a pop/rock affair which sadly made them lose their musical identity and most of their fans in the process. Blue-Sky Research really is an underrated gem. "But there's no screamo nor pigsqueals on it!" Thank f*ck for that. Hopefully signing to Victory will do wonders for Taproot. Otep's on Victory too and they're doing quite alright. I don’t know, man.
