High On Fire Set Release Date For New Album, Join Lamb Of God Australian Tour
High On Fire have set a January 23rd, 2010 release date through E1 Music for their new album, which carries the tentative title of “Snakes For The Divine“. The band are nearing completion of the effort and recently finished up tracking the outing in Los Angeles, CA with producer Greg Fidelman (Metallica, Slayer).
In the meantime, the band have also been added to Lamb Of God‘s upcoming Australian run with DevilDriver and Shadows Fall. Dates for that trek run as follows:
December 11th Brisbane, AUS – The Riverstage
December 12th Sydney, AUS – Luna Park
December 13th Sydney, AUS – Luna Park
December 15th Melbourne, AUS – Festival Hall

I saw these dudes this past Monday with Mastodon and Converge. Really sick live. I can’t wait for the new album. The new songs sounded cool.
